On behalf of our entire talented and dedicated Craig General Hospital (CGH) team, I want to welcome you to our new website. We are pleased to be able to provide you with information about our hospital, our services and our initiatives for the future. It is our sincere hope that you will find this website both helpful and useful, and that it will become an important resource for you and your family's health care needs.
As a proud new member of the CGH team, it is evident to me that what makes our hospital special is the culture of personalized caring demonstrated throughout our entire hospital by our physicians, nurses, clinicians and support staff. Our overall and simple goal is to become "the place where patients want to come, where doctors want to send their patients and where people want to work."
Our hospital was founded in 1963 and has grown through the years by providing advanced, high-quality care in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion. Located in north eastern Oklahoma, just 20 miles from beautiful Grand Lake, the hospital provides emergency, medical/surgical, obstetrics, pediatric, geriatric psychiatric care, swing beds and critical care services in serving our mission of "creating an environment where healing can occur and wellness is promoted." In addition, we also have several outreach clinics providing quality health care services to surrounding communities.
Our success over the years has been a direct result of the positive and long-term partnership with the community that we are pleased to serve. We are very appreciative also of the excellent leadership that this organization has had with Mr. B. Joe Gunn at the helm and are looking forward to a future of providing the very best health care services possible to those we have the privilege to serve. I am hopeful that as you use this website, walk our hallways or receive care here, you will always get a sense of our extraordinary caring and our sincere friendliness. At CGH, the patient is truly always first and foremost in everything we do.
Even in the short time I have been here, I am convinced that if you receive care here, you will find that everyone is working together to ensure that you have the very best experience possible.
