Local high school students can now explore the many opportunities available to them in the world of medicine thanks to CGH Health Beat. Many students don’t realize the great number and variety of career prospects in the health care industry. Through job shadowing and other programs, students can gain experience and knowledge, as well as scholarships, that will help them choose a successful career path.
For nearly 15 years, northeastern Oklahoma residents have been looking forward to receiving Health Scene from Craig General Hospital. Members of the Craig General Hospital and Grand Lake Medical Park staff are active in numerous local organizations, including the Craig County Community Clinic, Craig County Cancer Walk, Rotary Club of Vinita, Vinita and South Grand Lion’s Clubs and Vinita Red Feather Fund Drive.
