When problems do arise Craig General Hospital has a formal mechanism for handling patient complaints. Every complaint of a patient or the patient’s designated representative is documented and investigated. The investigation is to include a collection of data and channeling information regarding problems to the appropriate departments for attention. Follow-up is to include a timely response to the patient or their designee.
