The Code of Conduct has been adopted by the Craig General Hospital Board of Trustees to provide standards by which employees will conduct themselves in order to protect and promote organization-wide integrity and to enhance the hospital’s ability to achieve its mission in accordance with all laws to which its operation is subject.
Craig General is committed to promoting organizational integrity by establishing an administrative structure for the confidential reporting of suspected or actual violations of laws, or ethical practices of all hospital employees, physicians, or other individuals who work on the hospital’s behalf.
Hospital employees have a responsibility to report to their supervisors or the Compliance Officer, any violations of law, or unethical practices of other employees, physicians or other individuals who work on the hospital’s behalf. Employees will not be subject to reprisal for a good faith report, based on objective information, of a suspected violation of law, ethical practice or hospital policy. If any employee has concerns about improper actions of other employees, physicians, or other individuals who work on the hospital’s behalf, the employee should contact either his or her supervisor, or the Compliance Officer.
